One maker. Real problems. Working parts.
Layer1Printing started the way most of its products did: with a problem that off-the-shelf gear didn't solve. A roof box with nowhere to live in the garage. A Starlink Mini with no good way to run on the tool batteries already on the shelf. A case fan bracket the manufacturer never made.
Every product here is designed, printed, tested, packed, and supported by one person — me, Zack. That means material choices are deliberate (UV-stabilized PETG outdoors, annealed glass-fiber blends where loads are real, TPU where grip matters), tolerances are checked on actual hardware, and when you email with a question, the person who modeled the part is the one answering.
The name is a 3D printing joke that's also a philosophy: layer one is the foundation. If it's not right, nothing above it will be. Same goes for products.
